28/29 Weeks Bumpdate

We were camping last Friday-Monday so I didn't have a chance to do my 28 week bumpdate. Not much has changed in the last week though.

How big is baby?

Symptoms:Starting to feel aches and pains. Swollen ankles at the end of the day. Peeing all.the.time. Constant hunger. Stretch marks on my breasts and I wear out really quickly now.
Total Weight Loss/Gain: I'm up 29 total now though my midwife commented that she didn't know where I was hiding it since I'm tiny. Guess being tall is a good thing!
Maternity Clothes: Yup.
Sleep: I'm still sleeping pretty well, even if I am getting up at least 3-4 times to pee.
Best Moment This Week: Feeling hiccups for the first time while I was resting in the tent on our camping trip.
 Gender: GIRL!!!!
Movement: Lots. I'm feeling loads of bulges--like her butt or head.
Food Cravings: Still love my pancakes!
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button In or Out? It's so shallow that it's barely there anymore.
What I miss: Beer and being able to put my shoes on without feeling like I'm going to squish her right out of me.
What I am looking forward to: Meeting her for the first time. I'm not ready for her to come out yet but I'm starting to get very anxious to meet her!
Next Appointment: 15 June.
Milestones: Feeling hiccups for the first time. Narrowing down our name choices. <3

Baby's First Camping Trip

We had a great time camping at the beach this weekend but Mike and I were definitely ready to come home by yesterday. My knees, feet and legs ached from walking in the sand and at about 0130 Monday morning the skies opened up and we woke up to a leaky tent. Well, I should say that I woke up. Zero and I were getting rained on and Mike and Bailey were still obliviously snoozing. I wish it would have been warmer but summer hasn't arrived yet in the Pacific Northwest.  My favorite part of the weekend was going to Cannon Beach aka The Goonies Beach. It was great to get away with Mike for a few days and to celebrate our 8th anniversary. I hope everyone took a few moments yesterday to remember those who have died in the service of our country.

Here are some highlights of our camping trip:

Bailey and I enjoying the camp fire
She thinks she's a lap dog.

Zero loves running in the water at the beach!

I've always considered myself an honorary Goonie

Happy Dog!!!

Baby Quilt Progress

I finished my quilt top! I've made a few different quilts before but this is my first hand pieced quilt. I really enjoyed making the top so I've decided to hand quilt it too. Hopefully I can handle it and finish it in time. T-minus 85 days to complete it! <3

Presents!

I added a BOB jogging stroller to our registry a couple weeks ago, not really thinking anyone would buy it for us but thinking it would be good to use a registry completion coupon on. Imagine my excitement when I was buying a few things off our registry and saw that someone had bought it for us! Mike's mom and two aunts pooled together and got it for us! Yay! Mike and I are very active people and I would really love to get back into jogging post-pregnancy...now I have no excuse not to.

I laughed so hard when I saw Bailey's expression in this picture...
Even Bailey says, "Holy shit, it's a BOB!!!"
A man who actually reads instructions! <3

A stroller with a recommended PSI, suspension system and alignment system? Mike's in love!

Four Girls, One Boy

My brother and sister-in-law were down visiting this weekend and here are a few pictures. We had a little difficulty hugging....

There are four girls and one boy in this picture. EDD 8.17 and 8.19

If you've been reading my bumpdates you know that I've been missing beer for awhile now. My wonderful big brother brought me down a non-alcoholic beer that actually resembled real beer. I added a splash of lemonade and enjoyed my Lemon Shandy! Yummmm.
